Welcome to the Florida Region Officials' News Page. The information provided here is to assist new and returning volleyball officials and coaches stay current with the rules and requirements necessary to officiate USA Volleyball events in the Florida Region. Certification, recertification and upgrades
With the new season comes new training requirements and opportunities. Here are the training courses that must be completed by February 1 for recertifying Junior Provisionals, Provisionals and Regional referees
FL22_107 Jr Provisional Referee Training for 16-17-18 year-olds
Who takes this?
16, 17 and 18 year-olds who want to work as paid refs at Jr tournaments.
FL22_202 Adult Recertifying Provisional Referee
Who takes this?
Those who started their certification process in the abbreviated 2020 season and didn’t finish.
Existing Provisional referees who need to do their annual recertification
FL22_203 Adult Recertifying Regional Referees
Who takes this?
Existing Regional referees who need to do their annual recertification
Enrollment in these courses will not be automatic.

Scoring Certification Training
National and Jr National officials will receive communication from the USAV Officials Development staff regarding recertification requirements.
