The Florida Region is working to create a USAV sanctioned tournament series targeted at local level teams who may not have the means/desire to travel out of their local area for multiple events a year. The Florida Region is asking clubs who have access to a venue and who wish to participate, to be the boots on the ground in creating this tournament series.
details
- To get the series up and running, the Florida Region will waive any event sanction fees for Level II (local) events in the 2024-2025 season.
- Events would be sanctioned as Level II Florida USAV events.
- All Florida Region Sanctioning guidelines will apply.
- All level II events will be on a separate event schedule that will be sent out to all clubs and available on the Florida Region website.
- Event results will be reported to the Florida Region to be included in the Florida Region Local Ranking Report (new this year).
- Club/tournament promotor will collect and keep all tournament entry fees, spectator ticketing, etc.
- Teams/athletes participating in the Local Series would be eligible to purchase the discounted ($25) local USAV membership. This membership would be valid at all Level II events.
- Note: Coaches would still need to be fully vetted through USAV (Current Background Screen, IMPACT, and SafeSport)

- COI
- General Liability Insurance
- Participant Accident Insurance
- Local Ranking Points
- Tournament Support (if needed)

Florida Medical Treatment Consent Form: This form will be required for all athletes to have in their possession at every tournament signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to receive any type of medical treatment.
