What is Impact?
An acronym for Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory, IMPACT is a 4 hour entry-level coaching requirement of both USAV and the Florida Region. Individuals who wish to enter into coaching must complete the IMPACT entry-level clinic before the start of the season. This course is currently offered in six different formats: OnDemand, Live Webinars, National Onsite Clinic, Regional Onsite Clinic, and Onsite at a USAV National Qualifier or Bid Tournament. WHO NEEDS TO BE IMPACT CERTIFIED?
Any individual who wishes to be a coach within USA Volleyball will need to be IMPACT Certified. Only coaches that have completed the USAV IMPACT training may be added to a USAV junior roster.
