TEAM FLORIDA INDOOR ALL-STAR
GIRLS Nomination Process
Girls Teams Only
The Team Florida Girls Indoor All-star program will be utilizing a nomination process to select athletes to attend Selection Camp. There will not be a girls tryout. Club Directors and/or Coaches will assist in identifying talent while attending USA Volleyball tournaments throughout the season. The Team Florida Program will create a list of the top athletes in the Region to be considered for invitation to the Team Florida Indoor All-star Selection Camp.
NOMINATION PROCESS:
- Nominations will begin February 8, 2023
- Athletes can be nominated by their Club Director, Club Coach, or by the Team Florida Staff/Coaches through the online nomination form
- Athletes on a Team Florida roster and who medaled in 2021 and/or 2022 will receive an automatic nomination for Selection Camp consideration
- Athletes on teams ranked in the Top 5 of the Florida Region rankings are eligible to receive an automatic nomination for Selection Camp consideration if not already nominated. A nomination form will still need to be filled out.
- Teams ranked 6-10 in the Florida Region rankings (after Feb. 8) can nominate up to six athletes
- Any teams ranked out of the top 10 and in the top 25% of teams in their age division can nominate up to two athletes
- Any teams that are not currently in the rankings their nominated athletes will be pending until they play in a tournament with ranking points and fall within the requirements above
- Any nominations received that do not meet the above requirements will not be accepted. (Any athletes outside of these parameters that you feel is an outstanding athlete that can compete with the top athletes in the state, please email us).
- Nominations close April 7, 2023, 9AM
- Team Florida Coaches will make the final decision on the athletes chosen to attend Selection Camp (Selection Camp is invite only)
- Athletes will be sent invitations in early May to attend Selection Camp scheduled for June 3, 2023 in Orlando
- The athlete must attend Selection Camp to be considered for a final roster spot on Team Florida
- If you do not plan on accepting an invitation for the final roster (if selected), please do not attend Selection Camp
- Those who make the final roster will attend the USA Volleyball All-star Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, July 19-23, 2023!
