Q: What are the program guidelines?

Q: How will rooming assignments be handled at the All-Star Championships?
A: Team Florida will assign the rooming list. Athletes are required to stay in the room assigned by the Florida Region. Athletes room costs are covered by Team Florida. Athletes will have a strict hotel curfew of 10PM each night. Coaches and Team Florida staff will chaperone the rooms. A coach or Team Florida staff member will be on the same floor and in vicinity of the athletes' rooms. Athletes will be allowed access to the hotel phone for emergency calls to Team Florida coaches or staff.
**Note - hotel keys will be handed out at the meeting. Do not go to the front desk to ask for player's hotel keys.
Q: Will athletes have access to their cell phones?
A: Yes, between breakfast & 10PM each day. Cell phones will be turned off and collected at night during room checks and will be available the next morning at breakfast. (10PM-6AM no cell phone)
Q: How can we communicate with our child if there is an emergency?
A: An emergency contact # will be provided to the parents.
Q: What if my child has an emergency and needs to contact me?
A: All athletes will be provided a Team Florida delegation staff contact number; they can use the hotel phone in their room to reach us. We will have all athletes’ emergency contact info on file.
Q: Should parents stay at the same hotel?
A: Parents are more than welcome to stay at the same hotel but it is not required.
Q: Will my child be supervised while participating with Team Florida?
A: The athletes will be under supervision by the Team Florida Coaching & Delegation staff.
Q: Where can I buy tickets for the event?
A: Event tickets will be on sale during the practice day (July 21st) on-site at the event venue. Event and daily tickets will be on sale on-site each day at the event venue. ($20/day or $60/event)
Q: Are parents allowed to attend the practice day?
A: Yes
Q: Can parents attend social/team gatherings, dinners, etc.?
A: Once the athlete/parent meeting has concluded on the first day, the athletes will be under full direction and care of the Team Florida program. They will only be allowed to be with their coaches and teammates while participating in the program.
Q: How much money should an athlete bring for dinner?
A: We suggest each athlete has $20-$25 each night for dinner.

- Two jerseys
- Two pairs of shorts/spandex
- Two Team Florida t-shirts
- Warm up jacket + pants
- Socks
- Knee pads
- Sneakers
- Backpack
Other items to pack:
- Undergarments to sustain the duration of the event. Undergarments will not be laundered.
- All medical prescriptions necessary (including glasses/contacts)
- Pajamas, clothes for dinner (please be sure all athletes pack items that are in good taste and present an appearance that positively represents Team Florida)
- $20-$25 each night for dinner
