Please review the information and links below to learn about training requirements and opportunities for officials in the Florida Region. You must register through Webpoint before viewing the training modules online in order to receive credit toward certification.

NEW INDOOR OFFICIALS TRAINING | ORIENTATION |
Once you have registered as a member of USAV - Florida Region, you must register for and take the online training clinics offered through the USA Volleyball Academy. These classes are part of the officials' online training program, USA Volleyball Academy. If you are an adult or a junior who is at least 17 years old, and you want to work as a paid official at Florida Region Indoor events, including Juniors tournaments, you need to:

The New Official's Orientation Class is geared towards provisional, and interim (brand new) adult officials. Officials must sign up for a clinic in advance. This session is REQUIRED for all interim officials who would like to work in the Florida Region. For provisional officials, attendance is optional. Attendees must have completed the online training course for new officials (if a candidate) or re-certifying officials (if a provisional.)

EXISTING INDOOR OFFICIALS RECERTIFICATION | ONLINE
All officials must recertify each season.
- Provisional and Regional officials may complete all recertification requirements online.
- 17-18 year old officials who have turned 19 must certify as Provisional referees.
- National and Jr National officials must follow USAV National officials' annual recertification guidelines and pay the appropriate national dues.
OFFICIALS WISHING TO ADVANCE
For those officials wishing to advance from Provisional to Regional, Regional to Jr National, or Jr National to National, the Florida Region Officials Division is anxious to help prepare you as you work to improve your officiating skills and advance your certification. The first step in this process is to register for and complete the Regional Advancement Clinic Online. This course must be taken in addition to normally required annual recertification clinic.
Note: Provisional and Regional officials must complete two seasons at their existing level before they are eligible for upgrade. Registration for the Advanced clinic will add your name to the list of those wishing to be reviewed for upgrade.

This course is for existing Regional or Jr National referees who would like to improve their skills and/or be considered for upgrade.
Provisionals wishing to advance to Regional may also take this course.
All those who register for this course will be considered to be requesting review and evaluation for upgrade. These upgrade evaluations will take place at the four Tour of Champions (TOC) events. See Florida Region Indoor Event Schedule for dates and locations.
This clinic consists of FIVE training courses. ALL training courses PLUS your annual referee online recertification clinic must be completed in order to achieve completion for this clinic and the associated upgrade process.
FL Adult Recertifying Regional Referee – Advanced FL20
