SKI BEACH SAND VOLLEYBALL COMPLEX INFO - LEESBURG, FL

GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome to the Ski Beach Sand Volleyball Complex information page. The City of Leesburg Parks & Recreation Department and the Florida Region of USA Volleyball wish to improve the current sand volleyball area located in Venetian Gardens.

The plans include increasing the number of courts from 3 to 12 for leagues and tournaments along with installing a public restroom in the immediate area for participants. The courts will be used primarily on the weekends with anticipated tournamnet play to take place an average of twice per month between March and September. The newly proposed restrooms will be managed by the parks & recreation department with operating hours of 8am to 5pm.

ABOUT FLORIDA REGION (USA VOLLEYBALL)

The Florida Region of USA Volleyball is one of the 40 regional volleyball associations in the United States that operates under the umbrella of USA Volleyball (USAV).

USAV is the National Governing Body for the sport of volleyball as designated by the US Olympic Committee (USOC) and the Federation of International Volleyball (FIVB).

The Florida Region office is located in Eustis and manages a statewide membership of over 12,400 members.

The Florida Region is a 501c3 non-profit Florida corporation (incorporated in 1982) and offers indoor & outdoor volleyball for adults, juniors, coaches, and officials.
